And I spent like half of last night trying to find Zatoichi from 2003.  Y'ever see that one?  With Takeshi Kitano as Zatoichi?  And it's kind of funny, and the swordfights are awesome even though you can tell the blade is crappy 2K-odd CG and so is all the blood?  

Well, I can't fucking find it.  I can find a sketchy bluray import from the UK that may or may not be in 1080i, I can buy a crappy DVD copy that's not on Prime, and I can't stream it anywhere.  Not Amazon (in Canada), not Netflix, not PSN, not my cable provider, not Tubi which is sometimes handy in situations like these - not anywhere. 

I looked up and down and all around - no dice.  There are legit bluray copies out there, but I'm not payin' fifty bucks.  It's just that like, probably once a year I'll get a hankerin' to see it again, and it's never available, anyway.  The misery of it.  

So I downloaded the Funimation app, appreciated that this one anime destination has a lot of the bigguns (to me) like Space Dandy, Samurai Champloo and oh my God they actually have Satoshi Kon's Paranoia Agent!  Streaming!  Just right at your fingertips?  

But I actually didn't feel like watching anime, so I started Spies in Disguise.  Remember that one?  Cartoon?  Will Smith plays a super secret agent who gets turned into a pigeon?  

It was cute.
