Oh I Am All In For This Noiry, Emo Batman

I've been waiting a while for a movie that tried to... I dunno, feel like Batman was meant to feel in the Tim Burton Batmans and The Animated Series back in the 90s.  This movie feels like it's trying to be that plus The Crow. 

Fair point - The Crow no longer holds up - but... eh we'll see.  I thought the worst part of the above trailer was his hair.   What got me mad hyped was the way he beat that punk down so bad the other punks are all like "whuhoh."

We also got our long-awaited first look at the next thing Rocksteady have.  Rocksteady, of the original Batman: Arkham series fame.  Well, here it is.  

And while there's some stuff to like, here - King Shark's design, what sounds like Tara Strong as Harley and the nifty notion of an evil Supes - I feel kinda' let down.  I guess I shouldn't have expected something that stuck to the feel of the Arkham series, but the little surprise that Rocksteady have been working on 4-player Sunset Overdrive II: With Harley Quinn & King Shark when combined with the fact that this is a pure CG trailer... makes it a bit of a let-down. 

Especially after actual gameplay of Gotham Knights.  Anywho.  Pattinson's Batman looks awesome, so that's coo!
