Carrion Launches July 23rd

That's good news!  Carrion is one of a very short list of indies I'm keeping my eye on, lately, and the above trailer is probably the most interesting I've seen for it, showing off a lot of neat Toothy Flesh Monster skills, like using one of your flesh tentacles to control a human like a puppet.  Neat!  

But then I went and watched the first 25 minutes, and it just made the game look... I'm not sure about its pacing or structure, here.  I saw a lot of rooms where your objective is literally just to slime from one side of the room to another, or you repeat the same puzzle that was repeatedly solved in the last 3 rooms, or so on.  

So the trailer?  Very good.  The first 25 minutes?  I dunno... I'll probably keep my eye on it.  

At the very least, coming out a week after Ghost of Tsushima isn't hurting your chances.
