Scream Star Wants To Be In Sequel, Even Though His Character Is Very Dead

Horror franchises rarely die and Scream is a perfect example of that. Since the first movie premiered in 1996 there have been four films and even a TV show. What's more, a fifth movie is in the works. While no plot details or casting has been announced from the film, one cast member from the original Scream is throwing his hat in the ring. Finding a way to work him into the story could be difficult, though.

When asked by TooFab if he'd want to come back for Scream 5, Lillard excitedly replied, "Yes, yes, I'm available, yes, yes." The actor, who played Stu in the first Scream, added, "There's nobody that wouldn't want to come back and reprise a role they got to do when they were a boy and be able to do something different as a man would be exciting. You just don't get that opportunity often."

Of course, the big issue there is that Stu is very dead. In case you don't remember or somehow haven't seen the original Scream, we're going to get into spoiler territory. In the film, the character is revealed as one of the two killers parading around as Ghostface and cutting up his fellow classmates. By the end of the film, though, both he and Billy (Skeet Ulrich)--the other killer--were left dead.
