Death Stranding developer Kojima Productions has announced two items with proceeds going to benefit an Australian wildlife fund, to help recover from the widespread bushfires. A PSN avatar and limited-edition t-shirt are both now available to purchase, and all proceeds will go toward the Australian branch of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).
The two Connect for Australia items display the continent lit up like the game's Chiral network. The avatar is available for a donation, from $1 to $50. It will be available for purchase through February 29, 2020, and then you'll receive a product code for the avatar which can be redeemed until March 31. The t-shirt is $25. You can also purchase both as a bundle.

Several publishers and studios have offered similar fundraising efforts for Australia. Activision sold a special Call of Duty: Modern Warfare bundle, Bungie offered a limited-edition t-shirt, and Ubisoft Australia donated directly and encouraged fans to do the same. Many of these efforts were announced in early January when the wildfires were top-of-mind in international news, but the recovery is ongoing.
Death Stranding is a game about forging connections and society's interdependence, so charity efforts seem like a good fit. It received a 9/10 in GameSpot's Death Stranding review, and made it onto GameSpot's Best Games of 2019.
