Super Neptunia RPG is a big deal for the ever-expanding Hyperdimension Neptunia series. For the first time, ever, it's a game that is being developed outside of Japan. That developer is Artisan Studios, a Canadian-based outfit that, in addition to being the first non-Japanese studio to work on the game, will be creating a new kind of Hyperdimension Neptunia experience. This one will be a 2D JRPG.
We sat down to have a chat with the Co-founder and CEO of Artesian Studios, Mario Rizzo, to ask him what the experience has been like working on a very Japanese franchise, working with Compile Heart on the game, and what he hopes players will love about the game once it lands.
